Poor Voters turnout, Those not VOTING virtually committing a CRIME in IGNORANCE

Image
In the interests of one and all ... My dear countrymen! When I was University student in 1975, my English professor who was my Mentor also once talking on voting in election informed me that not voting in Russia was treated as a crime. On my curiosity, he explained Russia being a communist country everything there is a national property  and  no one holds the right to condemn it. He further told me that how on son's complaint, the father was arrested who was speaking about the poor quality of tea. It was when Russia was undivided and was better known as Soviet Union ( USSR ).   Remembering his sage advice, I made it a practice that everyone must vote by explaining him in detail the pros  and  cons of his voting. Though it had always been a Himalayan task for me to convince people for voting as a top most priority. But ours is a democratic country  and  we are born free, can live without food but not without expressing our mind. But to my astonishment, I

We need to value & adopt COMMUNICATION a way of our life for harmony in relationships & life

In the interests of one and all ... My dear countrymen! This piece of writing is being written with the intention that it will definitely help everyone in some way or the other. Actually, the importance of communication was strongly imprinted my mind by one gentleman, son of Comptroller and Auditor General of India, running an electronic company, I started my career with around the year 1979-80. The proprietor of the company was basically an Engineer from Pilani  and  established his company after staying in America over 15 yrs or so. Unfortunately, I could not enjoy his company more than a year. After joining his company in marketing, he once in lighter vein stressed upon the important role of communication in one's life and how far it affects human relationships in a day to day life. Truly speaking! I have tried my best to live his valuable teachings all through my life which were indeed a sane advice. With this he expected of me to be always frank  and  open to

Why private Drs. hardly appeal us while Drs.of AIIMS are a breed apart

In the interests of one and all ... My dear countrymen! The author is based in Delhi since 1979 and has had a small nuclear family of four that included his two sons. Passing quite a long time here with family naturally, he had to come across many a private Drs in illness or other emergencies while passing the hard life of Delhi. Following incidents belong to our nuclear family only. It has nothing to do with different experiences of others. It's purely our own  and  being reproduced here as happened with us with due regard to all medical fraternities particularly Drs.  and  with prejudiced to none. These examples would be suffixed for a common man to have at least a bird's eye view about the basic difference between Delhiites private Doctors  and  AIIMS doctors  and  their modus operandi. Case no.(1)   It was somewhere in the year 1990 when I received a call from my elder son's school to reach the school at the earliest as he had some il

Frequent Govt. advertisements kill two birds with one stone - making the people fully informed & reduce corruption too

In the interests of one and all ... My dear countrymen! Being a normal human being  and  leading a very simple  and  content life always interested in passing on knowledge to others which I gathered through various sources. Here, I try to shed lights on the above topic which are purely based on my personal experiences gained while facing my day to day life. I hope they will definitely enlighten my readers. In the year 1985, when Rajiv Gandhi was the PM. He dropped a bombshell by openly admitting the fact that out of one rupee of govt. welfare scheme only 15 paisa reaches the targeted poor, rest goes to corruption. But it is more than 32 years now, one may have obviously thought that wide leakages must have now been plugged. Thereafter Govts. kept on changing but I don't think there is really any noticeable drastic change taken place still today. No successive govt. started from that figure came forward yet with the figure in increasing order so that people

Strange had been their ways of putting different companies back on track

In the interests of one and all ... My dear countrymen! Let me take you all to some of the events of the period 1975-77    I had been a Gorakhpur University student to the peak of my career in the year 1985 when I was in the field of entertainment Electronics and also attending some management classes then. There came a new VC, an IAS during the year 1975-77. He was specially called for to a very short stint just to cleanse the entire administration upside down which was in a very poor shape that time due to rampant corruption, Neta Giri   and  gundagardi everywhere. To the astonishments of one  and  all He did no wonder but taken just two very simple measures: First thing - He told the entire staff that anyone not found in his seat during office hours will be suspended. Second thing - His office reaching  and  leaving time were always a secret. Nobody knew when would he reach the office  and  leave. After effects were so deep  and  dramatic, grea

How adding a simple common word here or there & some of the Hindi words play foul in one's life

In the interests of one and all ... My dear countrymen! Following anecdotes relating to my school days when I was in 10th standard in the year 1971. Though these incidents are not worthy of narration but citing these here for knowledge's sake to my dear readers  and  also let people know how a word or two in a privileged certificate can play wonder  and  havoc simultaneously. Hope three examples below will not only surprise many of you but also enhance your knowledge. My schooling from 1st to 10th was done from Railway School Gorakhpur. My father had been a Railwayman posted in Gorakhpur. I used to go to my hometown in summer vacation every year without fail where my grandfather  and  grandmother lived. Since I belong to Railway, I had the privilege of a free student traveling pass exclusively in my name in the class my father was entitled, issued from father's office which I availed every year in summer holidays.   In the year 1970-71, while requesti

Reservations- Boon or Bane ?

Image
In the interests of one and all ... My dear countrymen! With due respect to all and prejudice to none, Reservation issue has been very controversial, critical and sensitive issue since independence, nobody dares to even think of its abolition. Whenever the issue is raised in any forum for any alteration, it turns into hot controversy without fail leading to long agitation with all round destruction of man and materials nationally and always ends abruptly without any concrete  and  satisfactory solutions despite active participation of govt. and  judiciary both from time to time. Now, it has since been directly to do with vote bank politics, it immediately attracts the attention  and  interests of almost all the political parties to jump in one way or other in their own interests. Even after Supreme Court clear decision in the matter with a maximum reservation limit of 50%, every party coming in power comes up with new formula to woo some of the left out backward  a
